Phares Kariuki currently works as the Vendor Business Specialist at Westcon Africa, handling VMware business (growth & strategy) for East Africa, Central Africa, SADC and IOI. Having previously worked as a Solution Architect and a World Bank Consultant, he has both breadth of knowledge around Infrastructure, Cloud Computing and Software platforms in general. He has also been actively engaged with the community, participated in organizing three barcamps, part of the Mobile Monday Kenya Chapter amongst other community engagements.
