A Letter of Invitation from the Kenya ICT Board

Thursday 12th January 2012

Dear Sir/Madam

RE: Your invitation to join the Kenya ICT Board at Mobile Web East Africa 2012 – an event that promises to be this year’s most progressive and innovative mobile technology focused conference in the region

As the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya ICT Board, who are the official host organisation of Mobile Web East Africa 2012 www.mobileeastafrica.com, this letter is an invitation to you to join us and your peers at the 5* Southern Sun Mayfair hotel on 22nd & 23rd February 2012. The conference promises to a fantastic, interaction packed two days which will contribute to the next stage of mobile development in the region and therefore I would like you and your organisation to be represented in the delegation.

When we were approached by All Amber to again fulfil the role of official host organisation, just as we did at the inaugural event in 2010, the clear synergy between our mission and the objective of the conference made the decision straight forward. The development of the mobile web and mobile applications is a core area of interest for us and we believe it will have a significant effect on the ICT sector in the region.

It is my intention that this letter will stimulate your interest in this highly innovative and progressive conference so that you will join us and contribute your own perspective and experiences to the proceedings. I would hope that of particular interest to you, the potential attendee, are these key elements of the event and its agenda:

A highly innovative Roundtable Seating Format – attendees will sit at roundtables and not in traditional rows of seats, from my 2010 experience I can assure you it delivers excellent interaction throughout the two days as well as enhanced networking, discussions and outputs.

A host of the key individuals and organisations from within Kenya and further afield have agreed to contribute. These experts will form the stimulation for the interactions and discussions that you will have during the event.

The finale of the event will be an Application Developer Competition as well an Open Microphone Session, which will allow you to take to the podium and pitch your company or deliver your viewpoint on the discussions.

If you do decide that you would like to join us then I would suggest that you register on-line at www.mobileeastafrica.com. I understand that due to the roundtable seating format the capacity at the venue is limited to 140 attendees and because of the momentum that the event is building the early reserving of places is highly recommended. Alternatively if you would just like some additional information on the event please do contact All Amber on +44 1376 521 170 or by emailing info@allamber.co.uk.

I very much look forward to seeing you on the morning of 22nd February for this fantastic conference.

Yours sincerely

Mr Paul Kukubo
Chief Executive Officer
Kenya ICT Board
